What a hero is like is a father or a policeman, firemen, or others. Or they can be like kids just helping others in need. 

I believe that you can be a hero and not be famous. Some heroes don't like to be known ; many African Americans are heroes but  we don't know because they get covered  up with other more "known" people.

My hero is my mom. She just teaches me everything and I learn a lot from her.  She is like my best friend but, she always has that mom part to her. I love her a lot and don't want her to go.

I think a hero is someone who does something without asking for anything in return, who does something for his or her people. Such as Martin Luther King. A hero is someone who is very brave and will try to accomplish anything that is thrown their way.

Heroes put others before themselves.

Yes, non-famous people are usually more heroic then famous people, as people that are famous probably only care about their fans and what's in their wardrobe.....while non-famous people are actually are on the bracket of things, and instead of making changes to music, or Entertainment Tonight, they are actually making a differnece in our enviorment, or government, or helping the entire world even!

My hero......wow.......that's a tough question.....but, my mom and dad are my greatest heros. They support and encourage me....and they feed me and clothe me and care for me.....they are just great people :)

Non-famous people can be heroes. You see heroes ALL around you! Heroes aren't celebrities, heroes are people who change your life and/or others'! Without caring people in our world, there would be no heroes! One of my many heroes in my life are my parents because without them I would be nothing. 

Non-famous people should be the people we should think of as heroes. They work their hardest to support themselves and family. They are caring and giving to other people.  Heroes are people who do little good things every day. They boost other peoples confidence with their caring.

Yes non-famous people can be heroes. My hero is my mom.  She is my hero because she takes care of me when my dad goes away to marching band camp in Illinois. I miss him because he's gone for weeks.

Can non-famous people be heroes? Yes, because people that do good and don't ask for anything in return or just do it because they want to help are heroes.

Heroes do nice things for other people.

Some non-famous people can be heroes because it is good to do the little things, not just big things. Some of you might be heroes!

Some non-famous people can be heroes. St. Therese had the idea that to get into heaven you didn't have to do one big thing, but you could also do many little things. I think this fits with heroes, they do the little things.

Yes I think non-famous people can be heroes because they could be or do anything that they put their mind to. Also, it basically depends on what it is or what they doing that might inspire others. My hero would be my mother because she basically taught me everything from right to wrong to growing up. She's always been there and encourages me, giving good advice. She's like 1 of a kind loving nice person etc.

I think being honest and brave makes someone a good hero and a good role model for other people.
