I have being in a flood but it did not kill anyone. We had to replace carpet and the roads were blocked but that's all. Catherine

I've walked in one, but my house hasn't been in a flood. I went down to the river and helped sand bag around houses. It was nasty. I had dirt and icky stuff in my shoes and clothes. The sewers were backed up and they spilled into the water. Not pleasant.

No, I have never been in a flood before but I know someone that has been in one and her friend's sister got killed in it. It was very sad. :[
