I love the lizards those are my favorites.

Here in Texas we have a lot of people with dogs and cats. Usually more dogs than cats.

I would definitely say cats. I have one living with me at this moment. They are calm, and you don't have to train them!

Here in Texas we have nothing really similiar to that like sharks and such, but we do have horses and buffalo, cats, and dogs.

I think that my favorite backyard animal is a Chimpanzee, which is like a Monkey.  It's an amazing animal. It can do anything a human can do.

I also prefer wild animals. I like to be able to watch wild animals such as deer, fox, and elk.

I live in Colorado also. My personal favorite are elk.  I love when they bugle.

My favorite backyard animal is a blue jay (a type of bird) because I like the way they soar through the clouds above the sky.

My favorite backyard animal is a garden snake because I like to watch the snake solemnly slither through the plants.

My favorite backyard animal is the python. Like the alligator this snake is a master at camouflage. Once I was on a boat and I couldn't even notice the enormous snake five feet away from me. Like an alligator it sits and waits until an animal crosses its path. It has mastered the art of patience and can sit and wait for extremely long hours. When prey is near it quickly coils around it and it suffocates the animal. In the dense hammocks of the Everglades and the murky waters it is at the top of the food chain. The python does not have venom so it completely relies on strength. Not too long ago this snake was hunted for its smooth scaly skin and was on the brink of extinction. But thanks to wildlife conservationists they have made a nice recovery. That is why the solitary python is my favorite backyard animal.

I also live in Florida and that is close to the Everglades. An alligator is my favorite. An alligator has scaly skin and also is a reptile. It has razor sharp teeth. It swims around a pond or lake with its webbed feet. Alligators are super awesomely cool!!

My favourite backyard animal is a dolphin. I currently live in Florida, so there are many dolphins. My favourite backyard animal is a dolphin because they are quite intelligent. I also find dolphins to have very interesting clicks, whistles, and many other vocalizations, making me think if they have their own language by any chance. I also really adore dolphins because they are very caring. If one dolphin ever gets injured or ill, the whole pod will stop, and even help the ill or injured dolphins with oxygen, by pushing them to the surface to receive oxygen since they need it, facing the fact they are mammals. Dolphins are also known to save humans from circling sharks, or getting the shark to focus on the dolphins, and get distracted while the human gets away from the tense situation. Also, dolphins have been trained to protect people in the army. For example, in the Vietnamese War, dolphins were trained. Dolphins are located in many place around the world, not only here in Miami, Florida. And people should not take advantage of them! This is why I love dolphins.

My favorite backyard animal is the Florida panther. This animal is Florida's state animal. I am deeply impressed by its ability to survive in wetlands, mountains, prairies, and forests. This species is nearing extinction in Florida because of its low numbers, 80-100. What amazes me the most is that it is able to sneak up on its prey so surprisingly close because of its amazing ability to camouflage. This adaptation is highly necessary for the panther. It can run 35 mph for short distances like the cheetah. The Florida panther's diet mostly consists on white tail deer but it also feeds on unattended livestock and pets. The dense hammocks of the Everglades is what the panther calls home. It is like the king because it's all the way at the top of the food chain. Males are highly territorial and sometimes fights can be to the death. These are the facts on why the Florida panther is my favorite animal.

My favorite backyard animal is a dolphin. Dolphins have been interacting with humans for as long as we have known them. During this time we have been the dolphins biggest predator. Dolphins can swim up to 260 m. below the surface of the ocean.

I like in Florida too and my favorite backyard animal probably is an iguana. An iguana would be my favorite because they are scaly and cool.
