We are from Lincoln School in New Jersey USA   http://www.nps.k12.nj.us/lincoln/index.htm and we are working on a global project.  Our kindergarteners are creating a book named “Math Where You Live.” We are asking that your class take a unique picture of what it is like living where you live and turn that picture into a word problem that is geared for ages 5-7. You don’t have to be a kindergarten class to send us a word problem but your word problem should be written for students at that level. (addition, subtraction, shapes, number sense, greater than, less than, etc.) Can you help us by emailing us a picture and the word problem that goes with the picture? In return for your one photo and word problem you will receive an entire collection of everything that we receive.  The final presentation can be used for providing kindergarten students with more practice in solving word problems and older students with pictures from around the globe.
