Volcanoes are big and they are very hot.  There is stuff that comes out of them. It is called magma. Magma is very dangerous.

My name's Yustinus Adityawan, I live in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. Jogjakarta has an active volcano, Merapi volcano.

For the people who live at Jogja, their perception about Merapi volcano can be divided into 2 stages, those are disaster and god blessing.

I mean sometimes Merapi volcano erupts and sometimes gives us a lot of advantages such as volcanic materials for build houses, much soil in this place is fertile, and recharge area (groundwater and surface water)

Merapi volcano is important thing for the people who live in Jogja. I hope all of you can visit Merapi volcano.
