Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

    Hello Edgar,

Have you already found a partner class? My 8th grade ESL class in South Korea is looking to partner with fellow ESL or Native English speakings on the TWWA project.

Feel free to shoot me an email in the event that you are still looking for partners.

Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

    Hello,

I am a High School family & consumer science teacher in S.E. Tennessee. I am new to epals. A partner teacher in Middle Tennessee suggested I use this in  my class. I am not sure how it works and am really excited to implement this in my classroom.

How has it worked for you?

Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

    Hi everyone,

I too am interested in working with a few other classrooms from around the globe on the TWWA project.  Starting September 2nd, I will have between 60-80 7th Grade students (12-13 years old) that would love to collaborate with your students.  Please let me know if you are interested in working together!

Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

    Hi Edgar:

My school is called Nanuet High School and it is located in Nanuet, New York, USA. It is about 50km northwest of New York City. If you are interested I have a Sociology class of about 25 students, ages 16-18. We will begin school in September. I have had a partner school (Ireland and France) for the last 2 semesters. I'm trying to move outside of European schools, though. If you can't join us perhaps you can pass my request on to a colleague.

    Thanks,

    Chris Kersting

Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

    Hi there,

I teach English to a similar computer class. I did already last year as a pilot project and it went well although I could not accomplish all I wanted in terms of email projects. I think we could work together on this for the following year. If you are still interested let me know so, I ll get back to you as early as possible in September  to set up our accounts.

        Best regards!

                    Johnny

Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

Hi, I am a Filipina and presently teaching English as a Second Language here in a non-English speaking part of Indonesia. I have been teaching here for one year. I have some students who really learn fast and are ready for epal. I have been looking for this kind of activity for my FL students which I am very glad to find.

Hope to hear from you soon,

    Teacher Bea

    Dear Mel,

Your students are younger than ours, but we could still do the project. If you are ready to start immediately, please email me or my colleague at cschachter@epals.com or klynn@epals.com

    Thank you,

    Carole

Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

We would be happy to begin epal friendships with your students if you are still interested. Our children range from age 7-11 (there are 4 year groups, one class within each) I can arrange for penplas for as many or as few as you like. 30- children are in each of the 4 classes.

    We are in Bolton, England.

Hope to hear from you soon,

    Mel Eastwood

Re: LOOKING FOR CLASSROOMS TO WORK ON THE WAY WE ARE PROJECT

I will be teaching students about families and would love for then to be able to collaborate with other students across the world about their family lives.  My students will be 13-18 years old and I will have many different classes - don' t know exactly how many but looking at approximately 25 students total probably that would be using this tool for collaboration.  I would love to work with you and your students on this project starting sometime in August or September.  Please contact me at ronidorsey@epals.com if you are interested.  We are from central Nebraska in the US.

    Yours in education,

    Roni Dorsey
