Hi! I read the books! I liked the series. My favorite character is Sunny. I never knew that babies could have sharp teeth. I like the series, and I'm in the middle of book 8, The Hostile Hospital

I love the Series Of Unfortunate Events. I have read the first two books and saw the movie. I thing that this is the best series in history, and I would love to talk about what I have read so far.

    Hi Abigayle,

I really don't mean to be rude but these books are just too tragic, sad and unfortunate for me.I only read The Bad Begenning and The Reptile Room, but after that the nightmares were unbearable so I decided to read something with a happy ending.

I LOVE A Series Of Unfortunate Events! I have read 7 and I going to get the 8th at my school library. My favourite character is Violet Buadelaire and the Quagmires. Also, I agree Murietta, he does have a good voice when he writes. Same with how he talks to us like this: "If you have picked up this book, it must have been an accident, because no one in their right minds would read this on purpose.."

P.S. Don't tell me anything about #8-13, please.

Re: A Series of Unfortunate Events

I love the "Series of Unfortunate events" but I honestly think the movie is better. The books aren't exciting as the movie is. MY FAVORITE part of the movie is when he says lets take this back to the prehistoric times and does that dinasour dance. That is my favorite thing I always act it out in front of my friends and they think it's hilarious. I can't do that now though because I have sprained my ankle. darn it.

Hey I'm Murietta. I read all of the books in the series except for the last one because I just haven't had the time but I plan on doing it soon.  The series is great and I love the author. He has a very good voice whenever he writes. :) I enjoy reading his books when it is dark and gloomy out because the books always have darkness and sadness in them.

Re: A Series of Unfortunate Events

I haven't read them, but I don't have any intention of reading them. You don't even get anything out of them. I am a READER in all caps, meaning I read alot. So I know what's good and what's not. I don't think I would get anything out of reading "A Series of Unfortunate Events". I read books that are actually worth reading, and not to say that Lemony Snicket is a bad writer, but it just isn't the type of book you really need to be reading. It's just all about depression. I like books that are full of excitement and danger around every corner, and yet everything turns out fine.
