We have five classes of year 6 and 7 students who have just commenced a sustainability project focussing on water as our most precious resource, and would be interested in comparing notes with classes on the other side of the globe. We are looking at water pollution, water recycling and water storage as our focus areas, and the students will ultimately be creating a documentary based on their findings. This project runs until midway through term 4 - end of November.

I like the timeline of beginning in September.  We return back to school at the end of August.  So, by the mid to end of September, we would be ready to begin.

I teach a year 6 (aged10-11yrs) class in Newcastle, UK and we are looking for partners to work on the water/weather projects from September 2009.  There are 3 classes in year 6 (approx 80 children) who could take part.
