    Re: 7th Grade Geography Class

    Hi,
    I saw your post and thought that your students might be a good match for my students. Will begin the year learning about maps, this project sounds fun to do together. I will have, starting in early September, 7th grade boys and girls that will be 11-12 years old. We are a Social Studies class, in Colorado,USA, studying the Eastern Hemisphere.  We are a technology and aerospace school so incorportating that into our lessons is a fun challenge. Perhaps we can collaborate on a project or exchange emails to learn more about each others cultures.
    Hope to hear from you soon,

    Re: 7th Grade Geography Class

    I am curious as to if this project got off the ground. If so, how did it work? I have not had much feed back to my requests for contact and am wondering if others are finding this more successful.

    Re: 7th Grade Geography Class

    Hi there;

    I will be teaching a grade seven class in Sudbury ( Northern, Ontario).  I would be interested in doing this project with you.  I have aproximately 33 students in my class and about the same in the second grade seven class at our school.I could see if that teacher would be interested in this as well.  Our classes start September first.  I need to discuss this with the other teacher, if she says no I am still interested.

    Sincerely;

    Laura

    7th Grade Geography Class

    Hi,

    My 7th grade Geography class is interested in completing the Map Project with other classrooms around the world and within the United States.  My students range in age of 11-14, there are approximately 65 students, within 3 groups.  I would like to start the project in the middle of September.  This will my first time using ePals as well as my students first time.  I look forward to meeting new classes and hearing from the teachers.

    Thank you,

    Ashley
