Re: Looking for English speaking grade 3 partners

Hello.  I teach a third grade class from Gainesville, GA.  We would love to begin communicating via postal mail with your class.  Also, if you are wanting to do the map project, we would be happy to be your partner.  Thanks

I am a third grade teacher in Connecticut. We are currently working on writing friendly letters.  Is there anyone that would like to become penpals the old fashion way???    :)

Our school is in Kenya and our students are interested to partner with your students. They speak English. Hope to hear from you soon.

    Yours

Re: Looking for English speaking grade 3 partners

Hi, I am a grade 3 teacher who just registered here in ePals. I have a class that could be willing to meet once a week and I am still in the process to get the parents permission as well. I hope to talk with you soon regarding this.

My 3rd graders in Indiana would be willing to become ePals for your students. ePals is new to us, so lead the way! btilley@epals.com

Re: Looking for English speaking grade 3 partners

I teach third grade in Clarksville, TN.  Our system has just signed on to ePals and I have just registered.  My 18 third-graders would love to work with your students.  With a little prompting I think I could get two other classes (36 more students) to sign on as well.  Our classrooms have five Macs and we have a Computer-on-wheels (COW) that has thirty mac laptops.  I say all of that to say that we could meet the commitment of once a week.  With our schedules, once would be just about right.

We would connect the correspondence to writing and technology integration.  We use the Pearson Scott Foresman Reading Series.

Let me know what you would like to do first.

I will get my group working on a body of questions to have your students respond to (Getting to know you).

Looking for English speaking grade 3 partners

I teach library-media classes in an urban school in Annapolis, Maryland. I am looking for a match for three 3rd grades classes (about 45 students). One challenge is that we meet only once each week. I would like to begin anytime I can find a partner - hopefully, soon.
