I actually have an 8y old daughter, Maria Elise who would be a good correspondent with Jesse - if he doesn't mind writing to a girl. We are originally from the US and are living now in Ireland for the past two years. We live out in the country as well where we see cows and horses in the fields around us, hear dogs barking at the foxhunts (not nice really) and watch the seals in the river. Amazing! Maria Elise also likes to swim and fish, write, draw, paint and read.. I am proud to say that she has completed the unabridged children stories by Oscar Wilde and A.A. Milne. She likes the music of the Beatles, Mozart, Bach, Priscilla Ahn.. and of the Hothouse Flowers - her stepfather is the drummer. Maria Elise is also a decent cook in the making and has quite an exposed palate. I am a chef and often take her to functions that are kid-friendly. Once, she helped me - measuring and mixing - make 50 ramekins of creme brulee for an evening party. I crossed my fingers and found myself impressed! Incidentally, we are new to epals as well.. and.. we also used to live in North Carolina. In Havelock, to be specific. We sure do miss Smithfield's Fried Chicken!

Jesse is a great 9 year old Christian boy who is looking for some good ePals to communicate with on a regular basis.  He is using email as a tool to work on his grammar and writing skills; but also to learn about life in other communities and other cultures.  We live out in the country in North Carolina where we feed and watch the deer every day.  Jesse loves to swim, fish and play baseball.   He takes gymnastics and has had 4 years of dance.  For the last 5 years, he has collected toys for Duke Children's Hospital in Durham, NC.   He has been involved in numerous other charity projects.  His favorite musician is TobyMac!   If you have a young man who is interested in being in contact with a really great kid, please contact me to set it up at koolhome@epals.com.  (We are brand new to ePals.)
