Hi! I just started watching The Vampire Diaries and so far I think it is really good! I would like to read the books to see if they are like the TV show.

I think it looks pretty good, but I have never seen it. But one of my friends says it is a really good show.

It does not copy Twilight! Vampire Diaries is totally awesome.

I have never seen True Blood and I don't think it will be good. Vampire Diaries is way better.

No, Twilight copied author L.J Smith who wrote The Vampire Diaries, which came out around 1990 and Twilight came out 2000. It was also planned to become a show before Twilight too, but casting, and all that takes a lot of time.
