I would love to work with your class. We have some time over the next few weeks. Would you like to start the project now or after Jan 1st? We are out of school for two weeks at the end of december.

I am teaching my students how to use a program called Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) and will probably have them do their stories in that program. You can use any program you want to though.

Let me know when you want to start and what you would like to do. I was thinking we could have the students write a story about their holiday traditions, or community so they can learn more about each other. They could also include a biography as well so each writer can learn more about the other writers.

Maybe we could do a video conference to share our stories at the end of the project!

I noticed your post from 10/15.  I have a fourth grade class in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. We are getting a late start on ePals.  We are excited about sharing stories and getting to know 4th grade students from other parts of the United States.  Have you found a partner class yet?  If not, I have 24 students who would love to start buddying up.
