Dear Rubi,

   Let's work together on this water project. Our 4th grade classes have 19 students each.  I have never used ePals to work with another project.  I tried using ePals with a class in our area so I could figure out how to teach emailing and being able to see how it worked on a small scale with immediate feedback.  We each did a water purification experimented, then discussed it through email.  It worked great. That was last year. We have already had email addresses set up for this year's students in hopes of aquiring international ePals.  Your classes would be perfect. This is exciting.  Take a look at some of the activities associated with this water project.  We are definitely looking to understand the use of water by kids in other parts of the world.

Hi Diane, I am a grade 4 teacher in Melbourne, Australia and we are working on a unit on Water. We have 3 classes with 26 kids in each class. It would be great if we can work together. How can we connect to work together? It would be great if the students can set up an email link to discuss about the water issues faced by kids in their respective countries. We are looking for 4th grade classrooms willing to work with us on the water project.  We can begin anytime.  We have 3 classrooms of about 19 students each.  They are 4th graders with ages of 9 or 10.
