I'm in Charlotte N.C. and my community does have recycling boxes. But to be honest I don't recycle at all. Just doesnt't get my attention to do it. But I think we should start doing it because we can help and prevent all that trash that people leave around who don't care. It's important to take care of mother nature. That's simply what I think.

Recycling actually does help global warming. Also, we don't have to use so much of the material we have to make more items. For example, if you have jeans that are too small you can give them to smaller children, or cut them and use the pieces to fix holes in toys or clothes, or even make a quilt and give it to charity.

I am Nathan from Ohio and we just put paper, plastic and glass in recycling bins; not a lot of people I know reuse.  I believe recycling is important and all, but in my opinion, there are more threatening environmental hazards, such as deforestation and land development.

My community recycles by taking our pop cans and bottles to Meijer. Also our schools have recycling bins for paper.

I'm from Michigan and I use bins at my school and we recycle the paper that can be recycled.

In Michigan we recycle by having bins in the schools and not throwing away what can be recycled.

We have green recycle bins that we put the things we need to recycle in too! We have paper milk cartons though instead of plastic.

In my town, it costs MORE to recycle. About going green, I totally don't agree about Global Warming. We compost and garden but other than that not much.

We recycle cans and plastic bottles at lunch!

Recycle grocery bags so you are using the same ones over and over again.

In Michigan we recycle in our community also by putting recycled materials in a red bin and trash in another so that we can reuse those things in the future.
