Re: Video project among different classes from around the world

    Hi Elisa,

We would prefer to have a single video for each school, but in your case you could do a longer video for example, maybe each class can talk about a different topic and then putting the parts together.

Please write to me if interested and we will discuss further details nuriabonet@epals.com

Re: Video project among different classes from around the world

This sounds like a fabulous project and I would be interested in getting my students involved. I have a lot of students in 4 classes, so I could have each class make a video. Please let me know if you are still interested in more classes being involved.

Thanks Petia for your message. We will be happy to share our project with you.

Let's wait a few more days to see if other classes are interested and I'll get back to you.

    Kind regards,

Re: Video project among different classes from around the world

Our group is small, we are from Bulgaria, studying English as second language.

We are interested in communication and making a presentation for our school.

For us would be interesting all about your school, country, and if is possible to participate in different projects.

We can send video materials for this project. Would be interesting.

    Best wishes

Re: Video project among different classes from around the world

    Hi Nikkie,

The idea is that each participating class records a video (about 10-20 minutes) where the students themselves explain things about their everyday lives in their country (food, traditions, festivals, houses, clothing, schools...). The topics could be the same for each class, and we, the teachers could agree on a list of topics. The interesting thing would be that once we have this video we can send it via e-mail to the other participating classes and get their videos. At the end, the classes could write each other an e-mail or letter thanking them for the video and saying what they liked about the other country, etc.

This is the general idea of the project, but I am open to suggestions. I think it would be interesting to have several classes involved, from different countries, so as to receive different videos. The ages and the number of students is not a problem really, as it is a group project, not individual.

So far, I am in contact with another teacher from New Jersey, USA, which is interested. I think that  a group of 4-5 classes would be ideal.

Let us know if you are interested. Anyone else interested, please write to me nuriabonet@epals.com

    Kind regards,

Re: Video project among different classes from around the world

    Hi Nuria,

I'm an English language teacher and teach English to a group of 12 Greek students who would like to work on a project with other students on the same topic. though we were thinking of a different type of working via emails and video conferencing where each student could be matched with another one, your idea sounds interesting. Would you like to send me some more information as to the way of working, the length of the project e.t.c and in the meantime I can discuss the idea with my students.

    Best Regards

Video project among different classes from around the world

Hi, I have 3 students aged 14. We are from a little town near Barcelona, Spain. We would like to make a video project on the topic "The way we are" and exchange it with another group or groups outside Spain, talking about things like: food, school, houses, etc. I think we could make a nice project if we were several schools from very different places and agree to talk about the same topics. We could send by e-mail the video to each group and get different videos to watch in class.

Please reply to me if interested at nuriabonet@epals.com

    Best,
