Sorry Benjamin, I think you're wrong. I can prove it IS a myth. What happened to all of the tigers? Global Warming? Maybe polar bears are just subject to other predators and poachers.

I think it is just another superstition. I mean, 30 years ago, Global cooling was the disaster of it's time. It was just a cold cycle that happens every few 100 years. I think it's the same with Global Warming. It is a stupid idea, and humans have come up with stranger legends. We survived those.

But it is shown in the Earth's history that its overall temperature has risen and fallen. Why can't this just be another cycle? I was reading an article and some of the scientists believe that humans are actually contributing very little to global warming even if it is a myth.

I think that Global Warming is not a myth. I think it is a natural cycle and process but the humans are speeding the process up. There needs to be something done about this.

I think that global warming isn't a myth. There is so much evidence that supports it.

Re: I think global warming is a myth

Where is the proof that we actually caused the ice caps to melt? It could be natural that it would eventually melt. I believe that we are contributing to global warming but who says that we caused it? Only time will tell, whether the rise in temperature is just from natural causes or global warming really is in effect.

No, I do not agree with you, global warming is not a myth it is real, and it is happening right now. We are not taking care of our environment. All of these things are happening to it, for example the melting of polar ice caps, that can make the water level rise and there will be a lot of flooding on land.

Re: I think global warming is a myth

It's partially true that global warming is caused by us as humans but it's also being caused by natural cycles. Because it's a scientific fact that as time goes by " everything changes" including the earth. In this case "global warming" is the change.

Re: I think global warming is a myth

I do agree that the Earth is getting warmer, but I do not think that it is completely caused by humans.  In a study done by the University of Bristol in England, they found that only 45% of human emissions actually stay in the atmosphere and that the rest is being continually absorbed by nature.  Also, the Earth naturally goes through temperature cycles, and while it is getting warmer, it's not warming in such a drastic way as to cause the ice caps to disappear.

Re: I think global warming is a myth

I agree with the statement global warming is real, however many issues have resulted from this like dying animals and a rise in the number of heat waves and other natural disasters.

I agree with your statement, global warming IS a fact and the issue is whether we do something about it or not.

Re: I think global warming is a myth

I believe that global warming is a natural occurance but that we as humans aren't doing anything to help the situation by polluting the environment. We may be speeding up the process by our pollution, but it is not solely our fault.

Re: I think global warming is a myth

Global warming is obviously not a myth.  While we believe that humans are not the cause of it, we are certainly the ones speeding it up.  Global warming is causing polar animals to lose their habitat; therefore, we need to put in more attention in effort to help stop global warming.

Global warming is not a myth. We are doing things to pollute our world, its not just a natural thing.

Re: I think global warming is a myth

I disagree with this statement because there is evidence that global warming is occuring. The ice caps are melting, sea levels are rising, as well as temperatures. While people may have thought that global cooling would eventually freeze the earth, they had no decent evidence to support their beliefs.
