I also love Ohio because it is also my home. I also love Arizona because my nana and papa live there and it is warm.

My favorite state is Kentucky because I love Kentucky Fried Chicken.

New York has been my home forever and it's such a great state. Even though there is a lot of snow, I've never ever been touched by a natural disaster. That's a huge blessing. New York City is, to me, the entertainment capital of the world (I haven't visited since I was in the second grade, but I'd love to visit again), There are other cool states here too. Also, New York is very close to Canada, which is a great place. What's also cool is that in some towns, like Lake Placid, there are a lot of people speaking French and I find that cool because French is one of the two languages I'm learning (the other being Japanese).

Texas is definitly my favorite state because I despise the cold. That's the one thing it almost never is in Texas.

My favorite state would have to be Texas. I have been visiting Texas for almost all my life but I've been living in Texas for almost two years. Since I've lived in Texas I've had the most fun that I've ever had in my life. Texas is a very large beautiful state with so much to do from doing to the beach on the east side to the desert on the west and everything in between. The best city in Texas in Austin where I live, it also happens to be the capitol.-

My favorite state is WISCONSIN! Kyle, Jennifer. and Peter live there. They are my best friends!!! I love them. we have so much fun together. I also like Wisconsin because there is lots to do like: sled in the winter, or have snowball fights, and in the summer we can go to the pool or even go to a beach.  Sometimes in the summer and winter, my dad and my brothers and sisters and I go up to my cabin. We go boating, and have camp fires and we usaully swim all day long at the beach. That's why I love Wisconsin!! ~~ Rachel~~

My favorite place is California because Hollywood is there.

My favorite state would have to be Missouri. That's where I was born. I love the houses and Six Flags and the amazing science center.

Out of the fifty states I can’t just picture one. It’s a close race with Texas and Colorado. Texas is my home. To me it’s one of the most interesting states to learn about and is the most independent! When I was in Kansas for a month I never really appreciated Texas, till I was stuck in nomads land it seemed like. In Texas there’s so much to do and the people are fast fun and entertaining. I love how many opportunities there are here to take advantage of. But Texas doesn’t have the scenery like Colorado. With the mountains and the state parks that have the most breathe taking views! In Colorado springs, did you know there is a mini town that has soda coming out as cold as can be and freezes a lot so it’s a treat if you catch the spring working. Next to it is the garden of the gods which is another state park with big boulders shaped into fun things. The park is all natural formations. For example there most attraction they have is two rocks looking like kissing camels!! I would love to retire in that state, but Texas will always be my home.

I am from Colorado. I love it because it has the amazing Rocky Mountains, places for skiing and snowboarding, hiking trails, hot springs, and historics! Oregon is awesome too because of the small towns and beaches.

Hi, my name is Nikko. My favorite state has to be Kansas; yes most people laugh and say a joke about the Wizard of Oz. But if you are born and raised there, it’s a whole different story. The people are super nice, there’s no worries about hurricanes or tsunamis. But we do have tornados which aren’t scary when you’ve been through them about 30 + times.

My favorite state is Michigan.  I like it because it has beaches, lakes, and lots to do.  My family goes there several times a year to visit my grandparents (my Dad grew up in Michigan) and we also vacation there every year at the beach.  If you haven't been to Michigan you would probably be surprised that they have beaches there.  Most people only think of beaches by the oceans.  But Michigan has beaches on the lake and they are really nice.

California is my favorite state because it has beaches and Hollywood.
