My 5th graders in Louisiana would love to communicate with your class via video conference or email!  Please contact me at mariesoileau@epals.com to discuss details.

I may be able to help you out but not until late January 2010 when the Australian school year commences. I will have a class of 30 highly enthused and gifted 5th grade students. Let me know if you are interested and we can take things from there. Cheers.

    Dear Sue,

As I have read your message, I thought I could answer and try what we could do together.

Let me tell you about the class that would be interested in giving a shot this cultural exchange, and please let me know if you're still interested:

I teach English in France, in Saint Denis (North of Paris) and the kids are around 13 years old. Some are good at English, some have some difficulties but they're all very motivated. They would like to write -- particularly the so called 'snail mails'.

Here's my email address -- please feel free to write and tell me if you've found anyone yet,

    pierreFR@epals.com

    Thank you very much,

    My best,

    pb

I also have not had any replies.  I have 4th and 5th graders, also.  I have 16 kids, but I sure they would not mind doubling up.  We are in

Omaha, NE in a high poverty area.  My students are also high achievers and are highly motivated.  They are excited to start emailing.  I have

a few students that speak Spanish, also.  Let me know - my class is excited.

    Thanks,

    Lacey

US class of 30 students desperately looking for 9-12 year olds anywhere!

I hope one of you can help me. I have had no replies to my profile, and my students want ePals very badly. They are so desperate to communicate with students from another culture, that they really don't care where they come from. My class is made up of 4th and 5th graders, ages 9-12 (mostly 10 and 11). Our school is in Denver, Colorado in the US. Most of my students only speak English, although a couple speak some Spanish. They are mostly high achievers and highly motivated. There are 30 of us.

We are looking for a class to communicate with about daily life and culture; possibly even to read a book together and evaluate. We would like to communicate mostly through email, with occasional letters or postcards. I hope somebody can help us.

    Thanks,

    Sue
