I am a teacher in New York City. This year I will be working with a group of 4th grade students on the Global Water Crisis. I would like to start a pen pal or ePal exchange focusing on the global water crisis.

There will be approximately 10-15 students, all ages 9 or 10.

I am looking for a partner class in any of the following areas of the world:

Africa (Ethiopia, Uganda, etc.), India, Bangladesh, Phillippines, Honduras

What I would like is for my students to:

1. Get to know children in one of the above areas.

2. Learn about their country and culture.

3. Discuss the communities access to water (how water is collected, quality of water, etc) and how it affects their lives.

4. Ways in which access to water has improved in their country/community.
