Hello:  Not sure what age group you were looking for on this???   I have a 7th grade class of about 30 and also a 8th grade class of 30.

Are they OK?  Thanks, Caryn in San Diego, CA

Ming the Minibus Travels the World. Create your own story that will be read all over China.

In 2007/2008 fifty two schools around the world participated in a project called “The Travels of Ming the Minibus”

The project involved schools receiving a fold up template of the Ming the Minibus character which they then made and photographed in a famous or interesting location near their school.

They emailed their photographs back to me and they were later put into online books and distributed throughout classes in Hong Kong and China to help with the teaching of English.

Therefore we are going to relaunch “ The Travels of Ming the Minibus” and hopefully participants will see their ideas incorporated into the new books.

In 2010 a School in Lithuania and a school in Atlanta joined the project and actually wrote a Ming the Minibus story about their city and country. Photos of the students were sent with the stories and these have been made into caractures and included in the illustrations.
