Yes, I have many environmental worries.
One the biggest concerns are the water and paper waste that us humans do. An average of 80-100 gallons of water per day uses an average human.
Us humans seem to think that we will have all of this whenever we need it for as long as we need them, and this not true. We use water carelessly and often leave faucets on or leave leaks, we also throw away a lot of it. I think that there are various solutions for this problem like:
Automatic sinks: This can be very useful because the water will only flow when our hands are under it and this way while people are getting soap the water will automatically shut off, and it will prevent water from running when careless people leave the sink on.
Showers that turn off when a maximum number of water is used.
Manual Toilets: Many public places have placed automatic toilets that flush by themselves. While this is very modern I find it to be a bad idea because the senses are still not very advanced and flush with a mild movement for no reason.
Fixing leaks: I think this is very important for everyone to fix leaks as soon as they are found. This will save a lot of water that is wasted.
The world uses 400 percent more paper now than it did 40 years ago. We seem to use paper for everything and throw out a clean sheet because of a small smudge. We constantly need paper for blowing our nose, going to the bathroom, eating, the piles of homework they send everyday and the unnecessary news the school sends, etc. I could think of many solutions but some are:
The most important one of all is recycling used paper so it can be used again. Each ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water. This represents a 64% energy savings, a 58% water savings, and 60 pounds less of air pollution!
Using hand dryers in the restrooms.
These things change an environment because as more water is used the less we have. Most of our water is very polluted now and in the future there will be very few to pass around. This means rivers, lakes, oceans etc. Many are becoming highly polluted thanks to human activity but it is not only us who are affected, it is all the organisms surrounding them. As more paper is needed more trees are cut down which lessens our oxygen level, and it changes a habitat because there would be less trees. Animals and other beings depend on them for their survival and are forced to go to other places. Wasting small really doesn't change much but at the moment there are around 5.5 billion people abusing of the environment around us.
