    Hello dear Jamie,

I´d like to join  in your project. Can you send me your plan or details about your project. I have lots of students with good English. I´m loooking for international partners. How do they interact? How often? Do they use any tool to post the stories?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Best regards,

    Sérgio

Hi! My name is Raisiya. I am from Uray, Russia. I currently teach English in а secondary school. My students who are in the 5th, 6th and 10th forms speak English as a second language. They are keen to share their school life, hobbies, interests and culture with students, their age, from other countries. Students from around the world are welcome to share their culture with us. The students are eager to learn from others, all over the world, and would like to correspond by email at least once a week. We are looking to collaborate with a class on the digital storytelling project. I have around 25 students.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Please email me directly so we can get started: voron333@epals.com

    Tom

That sounds great!  I was talking with another teacher from the US, but she was more interested in a fiction story, where I was more interested in a life story kind of project.  My class will likely be very diverse, I often have students from Africa, Bangladesh, and Puerto Rico, in addition to my American students, but I have not yet recieved my rosters, so I am not sure.  Our school begins September 7th, so I was looking for end of September, beginning of October time line.  Does this work for you?  My students are older, but I still think that will be alright.

    Hi,

I have 4 sections of Gr 8 English, 80 students total, 13-14 yrs old. We're an international school in Shanghai, China. All students are fluent in English. Many speak Chinese and Korean. We are about to begin a digital storytelling project about family backgrounds/heritage. Are you interested in sharing stories?

daniellehartman@epals.com This would be an easier way to communicate, as ePals seems a little tough to navigate sometimes.  Look forward to hearing from you!

Re: US students ages 14-17 looking for partners for digital storytelling for Fall

I am interested in having our students collaborate. Can I have your email so I don't have to keep finding the post here? My direct ePals address is joneil61@epals.com

    Please send me yours?

I really like the Digital Storytelling lesson as it is set up on this site. I suggest we start with that, since I have not done this before. Perhaps we will figure out things we would like to change, but this first time, are you OK with following the lesson plan?

I am guessing I will be ready to begin this project in early September.

I look forward to working with you.

    Jamie
