Hey:
I'm a English instructor from Puerto Rico, who teach ESL to first year college students and would like them to improve their writing skills through an ePal. I expect to have over 100 student on the fall trimester [August-October] and really hope to employ this resource. The ages of my student will range from 16 to 18 at most. My students will be majorly Spanish speakers with the exception of those who are fluent in English or other languages. Due to the sociopolitical context of Puerto Rico many student have been extensively exposed to the language, but still don't master it further than beginner's level.
If anyone is interested in establishing collaboration, I would be glad to hear from you. I would like the topic of the exchange go around cross-cultural experience, through daily routines, housing, schooling, career, job, hobbies, music, movies, news, art, culture, within many others. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you.
Best regards,
