My favorite holiday is Christmas because it is a time to spend with family (and friends, sometimes). It is also a day where you can forget about all the problems of our world and you can be happy. This year Christmas is on Sunday, so I go to church, and so I can be with my friends for three whole hours (my church lasts 3 hours). I like to play with our nativities we have in our family. Two of my sisters are at college, and they are both coming home. My older brother will not be here for Christmas, but he gets to call us. I try not to think that the only important, happy, and good thing about Christmas is presents, because it`s not. The most important thing is the birth of Christ.

Dear Maria, I like to celebrate Christmas too.  I like to open presents and spend time with my family.  It is fun to play whith my presents.  In Spain, students receive presents from the Three Kings.

In Christmas, you dress up with warm clothes and fancy dresses because we look prettier with them.  During Christmas, you also spend a lot of time with your family.

You celebrate Jesus' birthday, you also receive presents from Santa and then you can play with your presents during a long time.  Santa is a magical fat person.  You can sing Christmas carols.  Christmas is a long holiday; it lasts all December long.  You can have a lot of fun setting the Christmas tree on the living room.  I love Christmas because it is a happy holiday.
