Hi, I'm a homeschooling mom. My family and I live on the outskirts of Prattville Alabama, USA, where an F3 tornado hit the heart of Prattville last week, Feb 17. You can look at our newspapers from this past week at MontgomeryAdvertiser.com and see some of the pictures and articles. It hit over 300+ homes and businesses. Amazingly, by God's grace, no one was killed, only two were seriously injured and are now fine. The eyewitness accounts are enthralling. Reading the articles you will learn how it is expected to affect our town's economy. The photographs are shocking as you see a room that no longer has a wall, but pictures are left untouched on the walls. You also see how people come together to help one another in these articles. Again look for the articles from Feb 18, 2008 (the day after the tornado). I thought this might be helpful for this project.
