I agree. Talking about trying to prevent the effects is all well and good, but there is more talking than acting going on over here in the United Kingdom. Our prime minister wants us to do something about it, but we can tell it isn't one of his biggest concerns. I wish it was!

I agree. It will take a VERY long time to build a shuttle to get to Mars.

Re: Global Warming: Kids need to bring attention to the issue!

I think that global warming is because of the earth's heating and cooling cycles but it could also be because we are littering too much and not taking precautions for this type of event. In about 10 years the world will probably get cooler and the government will freak out because they will think the next ice age is coming. We should take better care of the enviornment but not worry about the earth's regular patterns.

I understand that global warming is taking place, but it's not all the humans' fault. The melting of the Ice Age was before the humans could have a big impact, and now we can't do all that much to reverse it.

I agree with you about global warming.  The kids in the world don't do anything to create global warming.

But the pace at which the ice is melting is absolutely not natural. It is the result of the lethal activities of the humans. So certainly it is our fault in some way or the other.

I agree here in Michigan it has been a lot colder lately. Our winter didn't end until just a couple weeks ago.

Kids could do a lot to cause global warming. WE could liter or kill a tree. There are all sorts of things.

I agree that there is no such thing as global warming. The world used to be completly ice so it can't be assumed that it is our fault that the world is heating up, it's just nature.

    Re: Global Warming, United States

I think that we will end up living on the moon once the earth is all polluted. If we don't fix global warming soon, we will probably end up regretting it later.

Re: Global Warming: Kids need to bring attention to the issue!

It's not just that glaciers are melting, it's the fact that animals and plants that live in a specific climate can easily perish in the change in that specific climate. It's also destroying habitats, and it's thinning out our atmosphere/ozone layer and that will kill us if we don't take a stand and stop polluting our world. We only get one you know. But I'm glad at least you're doing good for the planet without even realizing it. But you still need to at least take a minute to realize the full danger that could happen if we don't do something about it.

    Re: Global Warming, United States

Global warming is definitely a big issue for the people of Earth, and for Earth itself. There so many things we can do such as ride a bike instead of driving a car or walk if you can do it.

Seriously you think God is the reason?  It's the people that's causing the damage because nobody cares.

I agree and everyone is kind of to blame too because at one point everybody has done something to harm the environment.
