Hey, my name is Claudia I'm from the United States.  Where I live there are just trees and just flat land.  I live in a little town and I wish I could see more than what I see now.

    Hey!

My name is Makenna and I am from Texas.

There is A LOT of unique things about us. We grow cotton, we don't have a lot of trees, we have a bunch of dry areas here. But, we are the #1 wind producing society in the World! We have grass fires almost every day. We're going through like a minor drought right now. It hasn't rained in a VERY long time.

Re: Welcome to the ePals Habitats Project

It affects me a lot because I love catching bugs and animals. It affects plants because there is a lot of space for them to grow. It affects the animals because there are a lot of bugs and things that they like to eat in the forests in Britain. There are different habitats because different trees have seeds that either blow off and land somewhere else or they can stick to animals and fall off somewhere different so it makes a woodland somewhere with all the seeds growing. Threats in my area are the land being chopped off that’s the main reason of threats. What kinds of bugs live near you?

    From Marcus

The answer to your question is.. every plant, animal, or person has a different need. Plants for example. Plants need what comes out of us and we need what comes out of plants!

My name is Julian. I live in Colombia and in Colombia there are forests, farms, and swamps. In Colombia there are no seasons and winter only is cold. We need to use many jackets because it is very cold. We are studying deserts now.

I live in Colombia and see mostly the same things. I love all the green we see in our beautiful city and the great views we get and the climate over here is great.

Hi, my name is Maria Luisa and I live in Colombia. I live in a building were I see many trees and animals, for example: pines, dogs and insects. Medellin (one of the biggest cities of Colombia) is a city full of rainy days but also there are many sunny days which means the organisms that are located here are variable depending on the climate conditions.  I invite you to search about my country´s habitat, any questions? Ask me!! Because if I don't get any answer I will fail the subject.

I don't know much about ecosystems but there are quite some interesting topics on this forum. In particular reading topics where I learn new things like: "Scientist's studies have showed that if we were to use the medicinal plants and foods in the rainforest we could get more out of the rainforest than if we were to use it for lumber and grazing space (after cutting down the trees)." from here: (http://www.epals.com/forums/t/37925.aspx).

Hello. Where I live there is lots of litter even by the houses. At my school there are lots of trees. I agree with you. The sunsets are lovely here.
