Welcome to ePals Forums. We hope that you will find our Forums both educational and entertaining. With the privacy, safety and well-being of our users in mind, we offer the following appropriate use guidelines:

ePals will not post any message containing content inappropriate for an educational environment. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • profanity
  • abusive language
  • messages promoting hate or violence toward an individual or group
  • sexually explicit messages
  • slander, libel or defamation
  • any message violating local, national or international law or encouraging illegal activity

Also, to ensure the protection of student members, ePals will not post any message containing personally identifying information about student users including:

  • full name
  • home address or city of residence
  • email addresses
  • phone numbers
  • school name or grade level
  • student age
  • names of clubs, social groups, churches or other specific memberships

For teachers and parents interested in providing contact information to each other, ePals will post your @epals.com email address on Teacher Talk and Parent Talk postings. In our continued efforts to protect our members from spam and internet marketing, ePals does not post non-ePals email addresses. We do permit teachers and parents to post non-ePals urls. Prior to posting any url on ePals, an ePals moderator will verify the appropriateness of the content.

ePals Forums are designed to be educational. Posts with a commercial nature are also subject to rejection. This includes posts advertising any business, service or competing website.

Please note: Our moderators screen all messages before they are available publicly. While breaking any of these rules will certainly result in your message not being posted, this list is not conclusive and other messages may be deemed inappropriate at our moderators' discretion. If you ever have a message rejected, we will notify you, including the reason for the rejection, via your ePals email address.

If you have further concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
