Dr. John Phillipo, along with several colleagues, co-founded CELT in 1991 as an education systems integration provider that brokers technical and implementation assistance to school systems for linking educational reform with the effective use of technology. Dr. Phillipo is nationally recognized as a resource consultant for schools, businesses, and state and federal departments of education on issues related to design and implementation of comprehensive information technology systems. In addition, he has taught graduate courses, authored journal articles, and made numerous presentations on interactive learning technologies and their impact on teaching, learning, and educational management. He coordinated a national research project, funded by the U. S. Department of Education, focused on using web-based electronic decision support systems to assist in the improved development of curriculum and management of learning. Dr. Phillipo is a former science/math teacher and school administrator.
