History will be made on Tuesday, January 20th when President Barack Obama is sworn in as the first black president of the United States. Obama is taking over at an important time in U.S. history. He will need to address many urgent issues from foreign policy to our domestic economic downturn. In his inauguration address, President Obama will present his vision for the future and his approach to the problems we face.

After Inauguration Day, Barack Obama will face his “First 100 Days” in office, yet another marking period for a new president. Presidents are often judged on the success of their transitions and their first 100 days. Keep track of Obama’s progress as he names his transition team and leads his First 100 Days. Is he keeping his campaign promises? Will you give him a passing grade?
