If I were President for a day I would.......

Make sure ships and freighters were sent out less often so our animals aren't suffering from the oils and gases being spilt into the ocean.  And I would make it illegal to hunt all animals...exept deer.   Because we need to hunt deer for meat so we can survive!  And other animals can live!  Because I care about all animals!!

If I were President one day, I would stop the war because alot of people die in one day there, and families get very sad.

If I were president for a day nothing would be done, I would need to be congress for a day too. So here is what I would do if I were congress and Presdent.

1. I would stop all the useless rubbish spending.

2. I would find a way to pull our troops out of Iraq in a slow orderly way so that the Iraqi government wouldn't fall apart.

3. I would find a way to produce more American made energy.

4. I would open all offshore areas to drilling.

5. I would make some new rules for wall street to stop them from tanking our economy any more.

I would not do much if I was President for one day, beacuse if I did something, then the real President would just put it back the way it was on the next day.

I agree with what you say about the economy, and that the school education priority is low.  But most of the money that goes to public schools comes from taxes (at least where I live.)  So, getting more money to the schools will raise taxes one way or another.

Money from the government has to come from somewhere and a good share of it comes fom Americans' taxes. Another good effort to make is to cut down on useless spending. Spend the money on important issues, the things that mean the most to the most people. We shouldn't pay for the things only a fraction of people care about.

If I could be a president for a day, I think it would be too short. ^_^

But anyway, I would do something about the economy. Everyone is affected by it. I felt it when my school suddenly had a lot of changes this year just because the school doesn't have enough money anymore so maybe I could increase the government funds on public schools too. And while being in this topic, compared to other countries our level of education right now is low. Something needs to done about that too.

Another one would be to make more government organizations to help struggling families especially now with the high prices. Gas prices are high right now so i would like to lower that too. It would be great if as presdent I could help so that someday the US won't have to rely on gas-powered cars anymore.

I would also make more efforts to convey to the citizens how serious global warning is and make sure that everyone is helping to make it better. A lot of people still don't realize it and are sometimes unconsciously doing something to harm the environment even more. So I would raise the awareness to our sick environment right now.

And the most important thing, at least for me, would be to make more government holidays so I could be out of school more!!!! Hahahah!!!!!

I might make a national school holiday. JK. I would try to cut through all the junk and get to big important stuff, like:

cutting down on prices that have gone way up, like gas

giving away one free day of medical care for all kids who need it

making a one day law to not use cars to cut down on pollution and give the environment a break for one day

and give all the teachers a raise.  lol. 

If I were President for a day, I would make all of the stores sell healthier food and cut down on the junk food. I would also make the gas prices go down to 2.50 a gallon. Last but not least, I would make all of the car repair prices go down to 89.75 a car .

If I were President for one day, I would stop the war, lower taxes, cut down on sugars and other junk food. I would also lower down gas to 2.55.

If I were the President for a day, I would make some changes, such as: I would try to stop global warming. I would help my environment. The gas prices will drop down. I would take people out of the war.

If I were President for the day, I would::

1. Cut down on sugar, oil, and milk prices
2. Get us out of the war
3. Try to support gobal warming awarenes
4. Let cell phones be allowed during luch only
5. ban smoking,and tobaco
6. Plant more trees
7. Help the economy

after I am done with issues I would bowling in the white house
