We should stop looking for easier ways to do things because these things are not easy.  Even if we did slow down pollution we wouldn't be able to slow down the geographic down turn.  What we should try to do is keep pollution steady and not increasing.  One thing to work on is recycling, more people need to participate.  Using less pesticides and chemicals ect.  What we really need is a worldwide understanding of how we can all work together to solve these problems.

Of course humans have good impact on the Earth too. But, as we get busier and busier, we look for quick ways to do things. So, there is more trash, more waste, and more inefficiency. In a funny way, we've got to go back to some old-fashioned ideas, like biking instead of always hopping in a car. Or, planning a bit more, so you're not running to 7-11 to buy a disposable bottle of water, when you've got, like, a million re-usable water bottles at home that you can fill up from the tap. And, eat family meals at home instead of grabbing carry-out. The more we try to "have it all," the more harm we do to the Earth.

What Kind of Effect Do Humans Have on the Earth's Geography?

Humans have changed the earth's geography significantly. We talk about the negative changes a lot:  global warming, pollution, deforestation, and more. What positive changes have humans made to the earth's geography?

Overall, do you think human intervention has had a more positive or negative effect?
