Culture and Map Exchange Using Art and Music

  • Submitted by: Pat Genovese, USA
  • Partners: Joyce Tauro, India
  • Project Type: Collaborative
  • Student Ages: 5-6

Description:

In this project young students learned about their own country and then shared the information with their ePals in another country. Students in the United States and India learned representative songs, created collages and maps, learned important country facts and symbols, and then shared all of the information through a video exchange. This project provided both groups of students an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of their own country as well as a chance to connect with students from another part of the world and learn a little bit about their culture and country, too.
