School's Out

Whether you finish school in June, December or any other time of year, it's always an exciting time as students graduate to the next grade and get ready for relaxation and fun with family and friends.

Discover what other students (and teachers) will be doing while you're on holidays, learn about end-of-school traditions in other places and find out about other people's holiday rituals. 12. Moon watch - pick a date and time together that you will watch the moon. Decide how long you will watch the moon. Describe to your partner what the moon looks like from your part of the world.    
13. Is there a special summer insect in your area? Describe this to your partner, and why it is so special.    
14. Ice cube melt - Place a small ice cube outside. How long does it take for your and your partner's cubes to melt? Who has the stronger sun, or the hotter day?
