My students are just learning to write, and I would like a project to excite and motivate them. I would like them to experience the thrill of receiving a letter in the mail.

I teach a second grade science class. We are studying magnets and I would like to incorporate some writing into the unit. I think they will be more motivated to write if they are communicating their results and perhaps comparing results with someone else.
